As E I'd compete to 4C rather than defending 3S.  Double by W is quite
reasonable, with likely tricks in both of opponents' suits, partner
advertising a big hand and not competing further.  E is 100% at fault
in trying to cash more than one D after seeing W play the T, looking
at the long Ds in dummy and plenty of entries to set them up.  It is
clear that W is long in the majors and that S does not have 4Hs, so E
should ****ft to the J of Hs at trick 3 to kill a dummy entry while
still maintaining D controls.
