Your club is invited to take part in the BILL HUGHES Simultaneous
Pairs. Note that this invitation duplicates one through the post if I
have your mail address.
DETAILS
Run primarily on Tuesday 24th June. Cost per head: 2.10 GBP. At least
50% of the entry fees is returned as prizes and trophies. EBU Master
Points are awarded. Booklets are given to competitors with comments on
the hands. All heat winners receive two small prizes and a trophy to
keep. Prizes are also given for leading pairs. All clubs are invited
from the North-West, the Midlands, Wales, and some other counties around
the rest of England. Special arrangements apply to foreign clubs.
SCORING
This is now done on the internet on the ECats site. See the scores
develop over the days following the event. It adds to the interest!
SPECIAL NOTES
++ Many clubs have Duplimate machines, or access to them. If any
club would like a DUP or DLM file mark it on the form and give an
eddress to which it will be sent.
++ I cannot produce curtain cards and keep the cost so low. If
you intend to make up hands on the day mark this on the form and I shall
put the hands in a suitable form.
