   OKB is usually done that way, though the software does allow the 
traditional alerting and explaining method.

   Experience shows that self-alerting and self-explanations tends to be 
quite good, but not as much better as people seem to think.

   The basic problems are really two.  First, you only need to tell 
people agreements, and people find it very difficult to distinguish 
between that and telling them what they have.

   Second, whenever a player produces a call that differs from his 
explanation, there is always some ignorant wuss around to call him a 
cheat.
