I would have thought that looking at the ways in which online laws
and/or practice differ from those IRL would provide a good starting
point. 

The limits of players' obligation to disclose agreements is a sore point
on OKB. So too is the practice OKB's directors of taking away boards
that have been started. This last is particularly odd since it doesn't
speed up the overall game in any practical way.
