That should have read:

radically different system and *overestimate* the ease with which an 
opponent will become familiar with all the implications.

I have the advantage of having played this sort of system and having spent

a couple years looking into the ideas behind them. Those of us who have 
commented have also, probably, spent more time thinking about this subject

than your opponents have since we are actually interested in this sort of 
thing. And often have had much more experience against it or a similar 
system than you opponents did.
