I don't know about eleaticus' system in particular, but in general it
is difficult for people to play against highly unusual methods they
have never encountered before.  For example, if your opponents play
that 1NT shows a five card or longer minor with 8-10 high card points,
the fact that it is on the convention card won't help you figure out
what your bids mean when it comes up.

Some bridge organizations are more open to experimental bidding systems
than others.  The ACBL has always erred on the side of conservatism in
this matter.
