1) Because that's the name of the city.  That's what we called it when
I was there.  And I'm not a native.

2) It was a hypothetical.

3) I've changed the title of this thread, because one of my spam trappers
deletes threads that end in 4 digits (since that's what the current crop
of
"so-and-so ****" threads end with)  It would be good in future if posters
avoided ending their thread titles with 4 digits.
