This February, I participated in The RPM Challenge. See
http://www.rpmchallenge.com/.
Participants are expected to write, record
and produce an album of at least 10 songs or 35 minutes within a month.
For inspiration, I decided to combine my two main hobbies; I did 10 songs
about boardgames. Click http://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/31449
to see the
games that inspired the songs, in track order, along with the inane lyrics
I wrote for each.
You can hear the album on http://www.rpmchallenge.com/jukebox/.
Just click
on "Library", then search for artist "Nair" and album "Ludophilia". If
you'd like to download a remixed version with better encoding for loading
on your Ipod or burning to CD, just click this link:

I recommend this
version. I only had a couple of days to mix and master the whole thing at
the end of February, and I think I have managed to clean up a lot.
Regardless, be warned that the album might sound like something done by an
incompetent old fart messing around in his basement for a month. However,
I
have tried to use a number of different styles, so if you don't like one
song you might prefer another.
