New motherboard cockup. Games freezing. TIA

by sandy58 <aleckie60@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 4, 2008 at 08:16 AM

My apologies if I am in the wrong group but desperate times need
desperate
actions. :-) I have replaced my motherboard with all my original HDDs,
RAM etc but now any game (I don't have many) plays for approx. 3
minutes & freezes. Games. Quake 3 & 4 and a small "find the picture"
game. I have the latest DirectX drivers, 1.5gb Ram, 3.2Ghz cpu. nVidia
7200(?) graphics card but running out of ideas. The new board is an
ASRock P4 i65G (the only one to suit my older cpu) Any tips/hints/
clues will be gratefully received, folks. If there is another NG for
this kinda mess-up please post it here.
TIA
ScotsSandy
