VIRGO Phase 8
Wins On Multiples Of 5
You have the power of neatness. As main player in the challenge, if
your final challenge total is a multiple of 5, you win the challenge.
History: The retentive Virgo are easily disturbed when things are out
of place. When everything clicks together, they are at their prime.
Cosmic domination would allow them to bring the universe into their
sense of propriety.
Do Not Use In Games With Insect or Traitor
FLARE
Interphase
Wild: Choose one player to either fill his hand to 7 cards or discard
his hand down to 7 cards.
Phase 8
Super: As offensive player, if you would win the challenge normally in
addition to having a multiple of 5, gain an extra base in the losing
player's system. Tokens may come from the cone and/or your other
bases, not to exceed 4.
PULSAR
Phase 8
Con: Virgo only wins the challenge for multiples of 10.
Phase 8
Pro: If you win the challenge as defensive player for having a
multiple a 5, collect rewards.

Cosmic Monopoly
When you roll dice for movement, if you roll a multiple of 5, except
for double 5=92s, collect $50 from the bank. If a particular die shows
the 5 pip, except for double 5=92s, collect $5 from the bank. If you
roll doubles 5=92s, collect $500 from the bank.
Commentary: This is a combat power from the Astrology series of powers
created by bunnythor. I changed the Con Pulsar, though I appreciate
bunnythor for his consideration in creating a Pulsar. His affect was
to change the power so that Virgo wins automatically if his challenge
total is within 10 of his opponents. That is not a limitation because
that is easier to do. The power becomes more powerful. Changing it
to winning by multiples of 10 seemed the better idea in my opinion.
I also added the restriction not to use in the same game as Insect and
Traitor since that would cause conflict. Bunnythor had Virgo
supersede Pacifist, who would collect consolation, but I disagree. If
Pacifist plays a Compromise Card, there is no challenge total
calculation to be made in the first place. Pacifist wins the
challenge. I do agree with bunnythor that Virgo comes into play
despite Anti-Matter. Only the challenge total matters to Virgo, not
whether it is higher or lower than his opponent's total, if he has a
multiple of 5.
Commentary by bunnythor: I have never seen Reinforcements hoarded as
much as they are when Virgo is in the game. Regardless, there comes a
point, usually later in the game, when Virgo can surge ahead
unopposed. Players in our group seem to have a mental block against
the fact that Virgo can win normally too. After the Reinforcements
from both sides all land on Virgo, Virgo may not have a multiple of 5
anymore, but he may just have enough points to win normally. Please
Note: Virgo only overrides Anti-Matter and Pacifist when Virgo's total
is a multiple of 5. Otherwise, Virgo loses against these powers just
as dismally as everyone else. Virgo is not fond of playing with
Mirror, Calculator, or Sorcerer. Virgo/Reserve is a nice combo. Virgo/
Virus doesn't really work that well.
