Power Of The Day -- Vacuum

by Hadsil <forumite@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 6, 2008 at 06:30 AM

VACUUM Infinity

Takes Other Tokens To Warp

You have the power of catharsis. Whenever you lose tokens to the
warp, you take along an equal number of other tokens. You specify
which players must lose them, and how many the players must lose.
They may decide which tokens go to the warp. Tokens lost to the
Vacuum this way are in addition to any tokens lost in a challenge.

HISTORY: Suffering from a severe necrophobia, the panicky Vacuum
clings to others in a desperate attempt to save itself from the warp.
Succeeding only in dragging innocent bystanders along, it takes
comfort in not going to its doom alone.

FLARE

Infinity
Wild: Choose four tokens to send to the warp. No single player can
lose more than two tokens.

Infinity
Super: You may choose which tokens go to the warp with yours.

PULSAR

Infinity
Con: Vacuum cannot choose you to lose tokens.

Infinity
Pro: When you lose tokens to the warp, all other players must lose an
equal number.

Eon/Avalon:

Power

No Changes

Flare

Wild: "Use once and discard".

Pulsar

Experience Rating: Novice

Cosmic Monopoly

Whenever your Monopoly token goes to Jail, you may have another player
send his Monopoly token to Jail as well. In long version, cosmic
power works as normal.

Commentary: This is a resource power. This is a terrific power.
Tokens are a valuable limited resource. The power's history explains
the worth of the power. If you are going to lose your tokens, it just
feels good to have others lose theirs as well. When players cause
others to lose tokens to the warp other than through a challenge, they
might think twice about choosing you. You lose flexibility in allying
with few tokens available to use without giving up bases. The ability
to keep everyone at relatively the same token count is a significant
advantage. However, there's nothing stopping you being sinister and
constantly choosing one player only to lose tokens, a player who has
Virus for example.
