Power Of The Day -- Sorcerer

by Hadsil <forumite@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 1, 2008 at 12:14 PM

SORCERER Phase 7

Switches Played Cards

You have the power of magic. As a main player in a challenge, you may
transpose Challenge Cards before they are revealed so that you play
the card your opponent picked, and he plays yours.

HISTORY: Over eons, the clan of Sorcerers studied the cosmic flow and
learned to channel these tides to their own needs. Beginning with
minor alterations in the probability patterns of matter, they
progressed to transportation of objects over great distances.
Undaunted by an occasional backlash of fate, they are humming the
incantations of mastery.

FLARE

Phase 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Wild: You may make the two main players in any challenge trade Alien
Powers before playing cards. They keep their new Alien Powers after
the challenge ends.

Phase 7
Super: When you are an ally in a challenge, you may switch the
Challenge Cards before they are revealed.

PULSAR

Phase 7
Con: As main player against Sorcerer, if he transposed Challenge
Cards, you may look at your new card. If you played a Kicker, you may
take it back into your hand.

Phase 7
Pro: After transposing Challenge Cards, you may look at your new
card. You may transpose the cards back if you want.

Eon/Avalon:

No Changes

Experience Rating: Novice

Cosmic Monopoly

Once per physical round of the board of your Monopoly token, before
you roll dice for movement, you may switch spaces between your
Monopoly token and another player. Neither player encounters the
space switched to. Roll dice for movement normally afterwards.

Commentary: This is a combat power. This power is a powerhouse. All
Challenge Cards are of equal value to you, though perhaps the middle
Attack Cards are less so because there's no clear-cut decision as to
whether to keep a played card of that type or to transpose it.
Compromise Cards are winners for you, if you don't mind giving
consolation. However, when transposing low Attack Cards be wary of
getting a Compromise in return. People do that against Sorcerer.
Sorcerer/Pacifist is a very nice combo. The Wild Flare is obnoxiously
annoying.
