SOLDIER Phase 2
Takes Over Planets Via Moons
You have the power to invade. Whenever destiny is flipped, if you
occupy a moon in the system of that color, you may move all of your
tokens from one moon there to any planet in the same system. In a
game with the Dictator, he determines the destiny color. For a Wild
Cone or Special Destiny, the system attacked determines the color.
Use Only In A Game With Moons
FLARE
Interphase
Wild: If you occupy a moon in a system, you may move all of your
tokens from that moon onto another moon in that system.
Phase 2
Super: You may leave a token on the moon when you invade.
PULSAR
Phase 2
Con: Play this card as soon as it enters your hand. Soldier must have
4 tokens on a moon to invade.
Phase 2
Pro: If you have tokens on more than one moon in the defensive system,
they each leave the moon and establish a planet base.
Eon/Avalon:
No Changes
Experience Rating: Advanced (Only because by default using Moons in a
Cosmic game has an experience rating of Advanced.)
Cosmic Monopoly
Long version only. When another player's Monopoly token goes to Jail,
you may place one to four of your cosmic tokens onto any of that
player's properties and gain a share of ownership.
Commentary: This is a rules power from Matt Stone's set. An
alternative power for Disease, players have to be real careful when
this power is in play. This power forces players to occupy moons.
For the Pro Pulsar, each set of tokens on the moons establish their
own base on separate planets. However, I realize that Soldier would
almost never get to use it. In order to occupy a second Moon, Soldier
would have to challenge the system a second time. When that challenge
occurs, the tokens on the other Moon would have left to occupy a
base. Soldier would purposely have to not use his power. It is
possible the occupied Moon is worth keeping tokens there, such as a
useful Continuing effect or at least be able to defend an important
Intermittent effect against someone else. Therefore, the Pro Pulsar
is not totally useless. Still, I probably should change it to
something more useful. When I finally get around to reworking my set
into Eon rules I'll do so.
The power was written with Eon Dictator in mind. Mayfair Dictator
does not determine the destiny color, only the defensive system. To
be consistent with Assassin and Disease, disregard reference to
Dictator. Soldier depends solely on destiny color regardless of
defensive system determined by Mayfair Dictator. However, if you play
with Eon Dictator, Soldier is bound by Dictator's command.
