SCAVENGER Phase 8
Takes Cards From Discard Pile
You have the power of recovery. When you are to take consolation or
rewards, you may instead take them randomly from the discard pile.
You may use your power when opposing Human.
HISTORY: Knowing that one alien's garbage is another alien's treasure,
the Scavengers scrounge around the refuse of wasteful civilizations,
hoping to find the goods necessary to force the entire universe to be
their own garbage dump.

Phase 8
Con: When Scavenger takes his cards from the discard pile, before he
does so, without looking through the pile, decide whether the top half
or bottom half cannot be chosen from.
Phase 8
Pro: If you do not like the cards you drew from the discard pile, you
may return them and pick again. You may only do this once per draw.

All other players on their turn are given once chance to reroll their
dice roll for movement from this power. If they take the reroll, note
down their first roll, including if it's doubles. When you roll for
movement, instead of rolling dice you may mark off one of these rolls,
counting for doubles, as your movement.
Commentary: This is a resource power from Matt Stone's set. Though it
is luck that determines the cards you receive, there is strength in
the potential to be able to reuse powerful cards. Once used, they
return to the discard pile where it's possible to get them again.
