RESERVE Phase 8
Can Use Other Cards As Reinforcements
You have the power to reinforce. You can use Attack Cards from -6 to
6 as Reinforcements. In addition, you can play a Compromise Card to
cancel another player's Reinforcement Card.
HISTORY: The Reserves became the dominant species on their home world
by waiting for other beings to wear each other out and then arriving
with timely force to deliver a knockout punch. Showing the effective
use of timing, the Reserves call in extra strength just when they need
it most. Other races are often deceived by weak appearances, in fact
believing the battle won, only to have the Reserves arrive to tip the
balance.
FLARE
Phase 9
Wild: You retrieve all the Reinforcement cards played during this
challenge.
Phase 8
Super: You may use any one Attack Card as a Reinforcement.
PULSAR
Phase 8
Con: If Reserve used his power, he cannot cancel any of your
Reinforcement cards.
Phase 7
Pro: As main player, you may have your power allow you to use the
cards as Kickers as well.

Cosmic Monopoly
Long version only. When you draw a Chance or Community Chest Card and
encounter its effect, do not discard it. You may use these cards as
Reinforcement Cards during property challenges as main player or
ally. A card that moves your token, except to Jail, counts as a +1.
A card where you collect money is a +2. A card where you pay money is
a -1. Go To Jail is -2.
Commentary: This is a combat power. This is a very good power. Low
Attack Cards are of value to you. Reserve often turns defeat into
victory. It has been my experience for Reserve players to forget that
they can cancel other players' Reinforcement Cards with Compromises.
Don't you fall into this mistake.
The Pro Pulsar is exclusive or. If you use the Attack Card as a
Kicker (of the same value) you cannot also use it as a Reinforcement.
The Con Pulsar means if Reserve had not made an Attack Card a
Reinforcement nor cancelled another player's Reinforcement, he can
still cancel yours because otherwise you are nullifying Reserve's
power which Con Pulsars are not supposed to do. As long as Reserve
somehow used his power, for himself or against someone else, then your
Reinforcements are immune to Reserve's cancellation.
