I just looked back to the original article. Just that someone don't
talk doesn't mean there are no bots playing around there :-)
Someone which I think is a bot, never responded to my chats, and was
so stupid (human or bot) that he don't accept my gammon when it was
saved but not moved. Every human player would realize that I am not
that stupid, actually I am somewhere between world class and
intermediate depending on how many games I play at one time :-)
But what makes me more think, that this one is a bot: In the middle
game I resigned, because I know he will double next roll and with pips
120 to 170 from the 5 point holding I have no chance. He refused my
resign and doubled me out next time. Perhaps he think I am so stupid
and would make a play, after that he can play on for the gammon :-)
I think the experts know, that there are bots around and and just take
care who to play.
But my intension is that the Server owners do something against these
bots. But they just say, that they have a secure protocol and there
can't be no bots. But thats not an evidence, that a special player
isn't a bot. It can be done via simple image processing ...
What do the others think?
