As far as the "filled grid produces exactly one winner" property is
concerned I'm employing the time honored technique of crossing my
fingers.  I had a lawyer once with a plaque on his desk reading
"Ready, Fire, Aim".  He was on the right track.  For me it's "Fire,
Ready, Aim".
