Finally! It worked quite easily with your "lure them away" plan.
I keep visiting the nest, but as you say, getting in there without being
gu;ped down by an exiting ant is very tricky, aside form that you have to
be careful not to win the battle and so lose the op****tunity of getting in
the nest. :-/
