That I agree :)

Oh yes :)

How many troops do you have to put in battle to get air strikes?
So far I have only gotten tanks - and boy is it bad news for
them ants - kaboom! :)

Supposed

I think I have found it but don't know how to destroy it. When you
see an ant over Mine 1 go over there and fight them ants - proceed
south and you should see them coming out from the nest.

I think certain pieces of evidence pop up at certain places
and at certain times in the game - you just need to be there
when it happens. Sometimes this causes situations you
describe above as you manage to collect the evidence
some other way. Once I was able to record the sounds
of ants some days before Louie told me he had installed
the recording device into the aircraft :)
I also think it is worth writing down the days and time
when it happens so next time you'll be ready.
It seems it is worth hanging at home from time
to time. Not only will you get to meet that
gorgeous red-head femme fatale (grrr!) but
you also get some evidence brought straight
to you.
There's plenty of op****tunities to get the evidence -
which I think is good as it is quite easy to miss them.

I rather not waste any time with those greaseheads, I just
force them off the road in the chicken game. Works almost
every time :)

That's not a bad ending (wink, wink, ****ge, ****ge) ;)

Keep on wheelin'! Oops, sorry! :)
