Did you release the bomb first or crash into it with the bomb still

Sounds more like skill to me. I wouldn't have thought the program allowed
for the AI carrier to run aground. It might have suffered somewhat in the
island assault as you say, but that's your island and your credit.

But you definitely wrongfooted him with him close to the beach, and
presumably unable to retreat. When it does decide to retreat it is
impossible to catch.

My first encounter was quite embarassing, and I think is do***ented in my
review. Ouch!

Should you do a review of the game, you should include this description
Seppo, its great.

I've had 3 possible results on meeting with the Omega.

I die.

He retreats.

He dies.

I'm not sure if its possible to retreat from him, it probably is - just
about - as long as you were close to the island's border.

But whenever I have met him, I've been impressed by the amount of damage
he can take. Although I don't think I've really used Quaker bombs.... I
must give those another try.

How about losses on a Defensive island. I think using this method I would
probably lose 2 of the 3 Mantas. I agree about Walruses, they are
difficult to defend, but its quite cool to try, even if it doesn't make
much sense.   :)

I think they could have tweaked the gameplay to make Mantas and ACCB's
much more expensive in terms of resources, so that you had a real benefit
using Walruses and Virus bombs.

Yes, there's some humour in there too with islands like Taksaven and
Vattland (Tax haven and a reference I think to VAT (Value Added Tax).
