Another World - Need Help!

by "Nate Brazil" <natebrazil@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 4, 2007 at 11:22 AM

Ok guys, I've played this game over and over and CANNOT get out of the
caves. I've played the game off and on for years and now must ask for a
"hint". There is an area where rocks are falling and creatures are
hanging
from the cieling. To date, I've always pretty much ignored this area
since
it is so dangerous and doesn't seem to have any bearing on the rest of the

game...

And perhaps this is my mistake. Do I *need* to get past this particular
area to succeed in the game?

There's also a screen where there are 3 barriers in front of a guard.
Once
you shoot down the 3 barriers, the guard starts rolling energy balls at
you.
Are you supposed to dance over these rolling balls to get to the guard and

take him out?

I really want to finish this game but it is quite difficult, so I don't
mind
asking for a bit of help.

And one last thing - the game keeps the floppy drive spinning. I don't
hear
data access but I cringe a bit at a motor that is being kept running on
equipment that has "seen its day in the sun". Seems like it would be
better
to stop the disk drive motor if it's not being used, but then again, there

are fans that run continuously that never seem to need maintenance on
servers so perhaps I'm just being overly cautious.

So is the A1200 a better "gaming" machine than the A500?

Nate
