I've not had any luck finding this game so far. I don't think its one I've
played. I've look under titles including Wizard and Warlock but nothing
seems to fit your description. Any more details at all?

BTW I came across one called Lords of Chaos, which I didn't know. From the
producers of Laser Squad and kind of a sorcerors verison of that.

Oh, there's another word we could check, sorceror.  :)
