Which serial link-up games would you recommend today? Which are still
great fun and haven't aged too much?
We're having little gaming party with over 10 people attending. Main
equipment is two A1200/030 computers with video projector on both. They're
also linked up with serial cable and have 4-player-adapters on both. So,
we'd need the best games for them ;)
The plan is to play at least Stunt Car Racer Turbo (better framerate) and
Super Skidmarks, but other easy to learn and quick paced games could also
be played.
Xtreme Racing could be one, but I think it's pretty average. Lotus games
is one option too. Max Rally is tested with four players, but it's missing
the "something" :)
Then there's lot of Dynablaster clones, which could be left this time as
we probably play dynAMIte with Pegasos computers ;)
Some flight sims were nice linkup games at a500 times, but I think they've
aged pretty much and won't probably suit too well in this kind of
happening. But Knights of the Sky was so great with a500 back then, OTOH
:)
Some options already rised on 4 player adapter thread, but any other
recommendations?
