Thanks all for the advice.  Relokick keeps coming up so I'll give that a
try 
first and post the results here.  This Amiga 3000 was given to me about 6 
years ago - the person who gave it to me wanted to see it go to a good
home 
instead of being thrown away as he had planned.  I assured the giver that
I 
would take good care of the machine.

It's a robust little box - it has some dialog at startup about AREXX. 
Anyone familiar with this?  Was it standard on the Amiga 3000?
