Wondered if any of you clever people out there had a solution for the
problem I'm having.
Currently have a Risc PC RISC OS 4.39 with 256MB and a 256MB Kinetic
card, and LCD Monitor. I also have a ViewFinder 32MB. I have managed
to get the above working (bypassed CDFast and put DATA file on the
Hard Drive, removing the PC part), but I can only hear it not see it
as the LCD doesn't seem to sup****t the Mode (it does sup****t 640 x 350
at 70MHz but Tots doesn't run in this it seems). I wondered if it was
possible to edit Tots in some way, i.e. is it in !RunImage that the
screen mode is set, or (as I'm suspecting) is it more complicated than
that?
I'm trying to get other old software working too. Fun School 3, A
mouse In Holland, Flossy the frog (Darryl the Dragon actually works
out of the box strangely enough?!), Sherston's !Splash, 4 software
titles from 10 out of 10 software games too, I think a utility from
keysoft is the 'key' behind the 10 out of 10 stuff, as you need the
game to run in a different Mode from the Mode 12 it is set to run in,
and an upgrade to the keysoft utility may fix this.
Any ideas? Help!
