database for games that work on RISC OS machines

by john rickman <rickman@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 22, 2007 at 10:16 PM

Wouldn't it be nice if there was an online database of RISC OS games
with information about which operating systems they worked on.

With a range of machines in my house - Iyonix, A9Home, RISC PC and
A7000, all with different levels of RISC OS it is a nightmare trying
to get a set of games together that works. A game that works on the
Iyonix may freeze the A9Home and vice-versa

It would not be so bad if a game just failed and you could try the
next one. Most of the time a failure is disastrous, requiring a reset
if not a power-off to get the machine going again.

Perhaps such a database already exists?
