Lemmings is quite a good game.

If you have a Spectrum emulator, I can recommend "Head over Heels".
Non-violent indeed. The two main characters have to cooperate closely to
perform certain tasks and it is truly a very difficult game to complete.
When 'baddies' must be incapacitated they are tem****arily stuck to one
place
by throwing something sticky at them. No deaths involved.
