There was a program published in "Computer and Video Games" magazine years
and years ago (I think the program was for the TRS80 - which shows how
long
ago it was) called "Round the Horn" (I think), which could probably be
converted to BBC Basic.

ISTR that was quite fun at the time, and was a simulation of sailing
around
the cape.
