Newton, James Cook and the Archi.

Is "Pirates" available for RISC OS? Or any comparative software?

I want to cruise the world, you know, and I haven't a lot of money.

Very interesting for me would be a "very simple programme" which allows
us to navigate a ship around the world. The physics in the background is
relativ simple, isn't it (?). We just have the wind, the velocity of the
ship and the streams of the seas. So one window with one compass and a
steering wheel would be enough to controll it.

More complex would be a map of the coasts and islands and of the towns
and also a lot of happenings. (Keep the game open that another people
can build their own stories and places in, too.) May be it's also
possible to have a night-day-simulator which means that the stars are
appearing in the night-sky, so you are also able to follow the stars. On
the day, you can follow the birds to find new land like the islands of
the "long white clouds".

In all, the basics (of Newton?) allow us to have a very big "chess
board" for a endless game, to tell and listen a lot of stories, like a
good novel.

I would still prefer this kind of game for a lot of text adventures,
really.
