I always rank E-Type as one of the top 5 BBC Micro games of all time.
It always seemed an example of what years of experimenting could do -
show that a machine could produce games that were far beyond what was
imaginable at the start. UIM and Exile showed the same thing pushing
the capabilities to the limit.
The Arc version is good too. How do you load the 100extra miles tracks
though? Do they have to replace the tracks directory in the E-Type
application? Also there doesn't seem to be anyway to return to the
desktop? Is this a hangover from RISC OS 2 or Arthur when possibly
returning to desktop was not even expected?
E-Type 2: the cars can get stuck behind others - is there any way to
break free or is this a bug?
