I have this idea for a typing game in Ajax, but I wanted to get some

Okay, so I've had this idea for a typing game using Ajax for a long
time. Maybe now I can share the idea with someone ambitious enough to
actually write it (because I definitely don't have enough time to do
it myself)! The game would be based on the basketball game bump (also
known as lightning to some people). The rules for the basketball game
bump are as follows:
1. Everyone lines up single file behind the foul line
2. The first two people in the line have a basketball
3. When the game begins, the first person in line shoots his or her
ball
4. Then the second person shoots his or her ball
5. If the second person makes a basket before the first person then
the first person is out
6. When a basket is made or someone gets out, the ball is given to the
next person in line and the game continues as such
7. You may use your ball to "bump" your opponents ball out of the way
giving you more time to make your shot
8. The game ends when everyone (except the winner) gets out
9. (optional) If the person that got you out gets out, then you get to
go back in (this can make for a very long, yet exhilarating, game)
Now, I will try to explain how this could be made into an online
typing game using Ajax. The rules could go something like this:
1. Everyone logged into a game (perhaps multiple games with a max of
20 per game) are placed into a queue (this is our "single-file line")
2. The first two people in the queue have a text box that they can
type in
3. When the game begins, the first person in the queue starts typing
the sentence displayed above his or her text box
4. As soon as the first person starts typing, the second person may
also start typing the sentence displayed above his or her text box
(whether it should be the same sentence or not I'm not sure if it
really matters)
5. If the second person finishes typing his or her sentence (with no
errors), then the first person is out
6. When a sentence is finished or someone gets out, a text box with a
sentence to type is displayed for the next person in line (he or she
may begin typing right away) and the game continues as such
7. You may "bump" your opponents text box (what exactly this will do
I'm not sure yet, but it will set them back in some way) to give you
more time to finish your sentence
8. The game ends when everyone (except the winner) gets out
9. (optional) If the person that got you out gets out, then you get to
go back in
So, what do you think? Please share any additional rules or features
that you think would make this game better. If you have any comments
about how this could be programmed or how Ajax will be used to make it
real-time, please share!
