Yes.

Also learn a soft language, such as Lua.

Then learn all the in-between and quasi-languages, like XML, YAML, MEL, 
HTML, SVG, etc.

Tip: Your brain is bigger than one language. Don't think of yourself as
"I'm 
a C++ Programmer" or "I'm a Java Programmer". Software Engineers can learn

any language they need to get a job done.
