This is a basic high-school calculus problem. You'll probably get a
better explanation by finding a beginning calculus textbook in a local
library and reading thru it. There's a fair amount of background
knowledge and explanations that are needed so that you *understand*
what you're doing here. You shouldn't regurgitate formulas others give
you.
