Be a Certified Project Manager!

by meimi.sttail@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Mar 28, 2008 at 11:07 AM

Project management is an indispensable element of every business to
manage the execution of their business strategies. Therefore, "Project
management" (PM) is no longer something we should think about, it is a
set of skills we should master in order for us becoming efficient and
effective in work place

Interestingly, while reviewing the best practices available, there are
couples of PM professional organizations in the world which focus
mostly on a set of standardized processes, and knowledge areas while
their philosophy and propaganda is pretty much "one-size-fit-all",
such that they can quickly expand their certifications and member base
across different countries. The real application of those processes
and knowledge areas, however is limited in real lives. With this in
mind, in 2003, International Association of Project and Program
Management (IAPPM) was found in United States with the aim of
decentralizing the knowledge in regional chapters, and foster local
pragmatic skill sets application and development,

With the help of its Greater China Regional Chapter, IAPPM has taken
the opportunity to offer the first of its kind value-for-money
management training course specialized in project and program
management in Hong Kong on April this year. It is a completely new
form of training course, and its uniqueness includes, but not limited
to the following.

1.	A close-knit linkage to an International recognized designation -
Certified Project Manager (CPM)*

2.	Twenty-three (23) practical skill sets from soft skills (e.g.
dealing with office politics; brainstorming; negotiation; and
requirement management) to technical skills (e.g. problem solving,
contract management and benefit realization);

3.	Multiple projects management - program management.

4.	9-hour intensive training based on management games; practical
experience sharing; CPPM Guide and Reference; and executive summaries
from 61 management books

5.	Conducted by a well-known experienced PM trainer in the market,
Bobby Ho, and he is also the author of CPPM Guide, and the question
banks of the CPM Examination

6.	Limited time offer of the training fee: HKD 1,700
