Our client is a leading publisher / distributor of casual online video
games, headquartered in the heart of NYC, and with offices in Seattle,
Europe and Asia, is looking for a Director of European Operations to be
based in the London office.
DIRECTOR OF EUROPEAN OPERATIONS
The successful candidate will have a track record in commercial
management of cross- European operations in the field of web based
solutions and services. The candidate will be capable of leading the
European team, creating and managing business opportunities and new
customers, and working closely with large organizations such as portals
and ISPs to ensure the highest quality casual games solution deployment,
and continued accelerated growth of the business.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Leading Europe
- Leading the Europe team
- Becoming The European authority on Casual Games
- Representing in the casual games market in Europe
* Business development
- Generating new business and new partnerships
- Improving relationships with existing partners, and expanding
activity with them to new areas.
- Participating in the creation of new products, making sure they
fit the European markets.
* Managing the Europe operations
- Responsibility for deployment of new partners and new services
- On going management of existing partners
- Defining and meeting revenue goals
- Working closely with all parts of Company outside EU to
facilitate the smooth operation of our company in Europe
Qualifications:
* An experienced, commercial, business person
* Experience in sales and business development to European
operators, portals, ISP or media companies
* Experience in managing large scale technology deployment projects
* Personal charisma and authority
* Experience in the field of casual games – a major advantage
