Is it necessary, or at least very helpful to bring a laptop to the Game
Developers' Conference? Since the total cost for me of going to the
conference would be several times the cost of a new computer, that would
be
a factor in deciding whether my next computer will be a laptop or desktop.
Maybe I could just rent a laptop for a week, but if booths and
speakers hand out tons of software to install, the laptop rental store may
not be pleased with everything I've put on it.
