Are open source games on the decline these days?
I know how hard it must be to compete with the major software companies.
It
must take literally thousands of man-hours to write the kind of games that
people are playing these days.
I have an idea for a game that (as far as I can see) is totally unique.
However, it is another one of these kind of games that would take a
lifetime
to program unless you are a big company with many programmers.
Alas, none of the big guys are interested in even hearing my idea (that is
the sad part of copyright protection). It is likely I will never get to
see
it working.
So if there is anyone here who still has an interest in developing a new
game, I can provide some audio for it! :o)
Regards,
Lynn
