Thanks for the tip! Since Age of Kings came with my computer, I
do not have re-installation software. I nevertheless discovered that
I could do a partial reinstall by clicking on the "Age of Empires II
Uninstall" file. After reinstallation, the scrolling problem
disappeared. However, it re-appeared later on! I then reinstalled
again. Once again, it disappeared only to reappear later. I'll try
your method the next time this uncontrolled scrolling happens again.
