Mission trouble....ST, any help please?

by Paul & Victoria Heisner <pheisner@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 30, 2003 at 07:06 PM

Greetings All,

I am playing ST and I am in a mission (I just went back in to get the
name but could't find one in the mission briefing), where I have to
protect the Ratna, a research vessel with some prototypes on board
until the Gemini can come in a tow it out, it's been disabled.

I go through the mission and wipe out the baddies, and watch the
Gemini dock with the Ratna and start towing it. OK, fine, my wing men
and I wander along with them at thief speed for about 20 mins. No
baddies, no goodies, no nothing, I can hear my wing man popping her
gum out of bordom......I think Alpha 3 is asleep and Alphas 4 & 5 are
docked for some reason and their ship are rocking somewhat.......

Anyway, that's it...nothing else happens, the message board still has
"Escort Ratna" in white, not cleared (in blue) and no indication that
the mission is over but nothing else happens. The docked ships (not 4
& 5) finally stop and do nothing.

I exit the mission, the ending statement says I did a great job, the
recommendations says good job, but when I hit the "continue" button it
tells me that I failed the mission and can't continue. What did I do
wrong? Or, perhaps, this is a glitch? Anyone know?

Thanx in advance

Paul C. Heisner
