Examining Champion Tinsley's Moves

by "mark" <mschribr@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 8, 2007 at 10:30 AM

Many have said former world champion Marion Tinsley played nearly
perfect 8x8 American checkers. Today's programs do play nearly perfect
8x8 American checkers.

Has anyone compared Tinsley's moves to today's computer's moves? We
could see what percentage of Tinsley's moves were bad. If he played
the move against a perfect computer then he might have drawn or lost
instead of won. Or lost instead of drawn.
