Just as an experiment, I've set up a copy of the ICDS (international
checkers
and draughts server) on port 4444 at chungkuo.org . I have no idea how
well
this does or does not work, and it seems to have some bugs. (The
developer
stopped running it in 2000-2001 I believe). The only client I know of is
Xcheckers which is for Unix/Linux. I'm not aware of a windoze client, but
of
course it does run in a text mode with straight telnet.
