DOOM 3 WINDOWS 98SE HACK

Hi

Did someone post a link to a site that had a hack to make doom3 work 
under Windows 98SE.

Failing that I will wait till the Linux version is released.  Will i 
still be able to use my legal doom 3 disks to play the game under linux, 
as I read that the linux version will be a download. ?
