Do you have a CD-R or CD-RW drive? Install Doom2 on your
hard disk, and then copy (burn) the DOOM2.EXE, DM.EXE, SERDOOM.EXE
IPXDOOM.EXE (for network or nullmodem play), DOOM2.WAD, and ready made
Doom 2 *.cfg files (which reflects the configuration of your work
computer) from your Doom2 directory onto the CD using the appropriate
Cd-burning software. I recommend including whatever source ports you are
using (unzipped and ready to go), and any add on wads/levels that you want
to play while at the office on the CD as well. Make sure that all files
are
in the same directories, and if you have source ports that use their own
sub directories/folders in your Doom2 directory, make sure that they are
on the CD as well, in the Doom2 directory.
Please note that if you use the -cdrom parameter with the DOOM2
executable
(example DOOM2 -cdrom), it will create a directory called DOOMDATA in
the root directory of drive C:. You'll need to remove this directory and
it's
files once you are finished.
