Well call me a sucker but I could no longer resist. I just pre-ordered
DOOM 3! Of the 3 places listed on DOOM3.com, EB games is the best choice
for me because of the price and there's an EB store a just couple blocks
from me. I called the store to verify the June 15th release date and the
guy said that as of now, that IS the release date and that they should
have it in stores on the 16th. He said that pre-ordering assures me a
copy and that he'll call as soon as it comes in.
Another nice aspect of this is that my credit card won't be charged
until I actually pick up the game.
Judging from how difficult it was to get UT2004 when it was released,
this seems like the smart way to go.
I'll let you guys know what happens.......
