Sounds interesting. You say he's not playing? Usually the problem is that 
they talk via /f m meaning that chat to everyone at once. Alot of people 
hate this. I can't help it i'm lazy and chat that way. If you were to have

removed him due to this and he's still playing it must be done at both
ends. 
If he hadn't done it then whenever he talks to other people you'd still
see 
his msgs. Kind of a puzzle you've got there. :-/
