If an Irish child is taken at birth to an Orthodox Jewish home and is
raised there knowing no other family, will he/she not be ethnically
Jewish? I'm just picking at the words for the sake of clarity.
Ethnicity is culture, learned behavior, not something genetic.
Jewishness is ethnicity. The DNA is Semitic if you wish to talk about
race. But the Semitic race includes many who are not ethnic Jews.
Palestinians for example.
