fired up an old D2X install (I was one of the rare Descent-Mousers) which

don't think I've touched for a couple years, and certainly not since
upgrading to a dualcore+7900gtx. It fired right up, cutscenes and all
without a hiccup, and I played through a couple levels. What a blast.
I'd
forgotten how good it was, and plan to finish it again! A couple things
need tweaking, the cutscenes are dark, and I did not attempt cdmusic. My
new dvd drive doesn't have a separate cdaudio connector and I don't know
if
the cdaudio will play without it.
