Really old Descent

by "Alyce Addertongue" <no.reply@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 16, 2007 at 10:36 AM

A) are there any copies of the original Descent (D1?) still lying around?
If so, would anyone like to share? I believe my original copy was on a
512KB floppy, which I must have thrown out...

B) has anyone tried to run D1 on an XP machine? D2 runs fine on my HP
cheapie, but has some issues on my Dell dual-core machine. I'm wondering
if
anyone else has worked with these old DOS games.

Did this ng just have a server problem? I was trying to look for old
posts
and between yesterday and today, most of the posts (even new spams) have
become "no longer available on this server..."
