Intel video chipset

by "Sminky" <arlanrose@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 10, 2006 at 09:19 PM

In doing some research into my D3 graphics problems (unreadable ingame
menus, weird textures, and texture blocks following the target reticle
around, etc.), I have found people that mention that Intel motherboard
video
chipsets are the cause for messed up graphics in D3 under WinXP SP2.

Does anybody have any experience or opinions on this?

Unfortunately, I purchased an inexpensive Compaq Presario that doesn't
seem
to have a slot for an AGP card. However, it does have open PCI slots. Is

there such thing as a PCI video card? If so, can one install such a card
to
upgrade or augment a motherboard video chipset?

Thanks in advance for any help, advice, and/or opinions.

S
