I am having problems with Descent 3 and Windows XP SP2. The graphics are
really messed up, rendering the config menus unreadable and the target
reticle has a texture block beneath it. I have tried installing/running
the
game in compatibility mode for Win98 (the last OS that ran the game well),
tried different 3D rending modes, anitvirus on/off (Norton Antivirus
2006),and updating D3...all without success.
I really like D3, but I am afraid I am going to have to quit trying as it
is
just frustrating.
I would appreciate any hint/suggestions so I can play this great game.
